Saturday and Sunday Mornings the Easymix 1467 Way!
Glenn drew the short straw and now has to get up early Saturday and Sunday! But he loves it! Hosting the popular Buy and Sell programme is one of the highlights of his week, as well as playing all the music you love on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
A Little Bit about Glenn...
Glenn officially started at “The Greater 3UZ” in Melbourne on the 16th September 1980, following several years of talking into saucepans (a practice technique) and tape recorders.
He spent nearly four years in cap city radio, working with people like Bert Newton, Normie Rowe, John Deeks, Izzy Dye, and a number of other main stream media and sporting greats to discover that they are all simply, human beings!
Preferring the lifestyle of Regional Victoria he left Melbourne 25 years ago and still enjoys life in sunny Sunraysia. He also has journalism experience in both radio and TV and media management.
What are your media highlights so far?
Interviewing the “second” man to walk on the moon. And finally convincing media architects to design toilets closer to on-air studios! Also experiencing the transition between vinyl and CDs, manual button pushing, to computer automation and not having to put on a long record to simply go to the toilet. When all is said and done though, it's the joy, of sharing; making people smile, giving people things to think about: and most importantly, making everyone aware that they are not alone!
