Ballarat region umpires to crack down on abuse
UMPIRES have threatened to boycott matches across the Ballarat region amid a crackdown on umpire abuse.
Ballarat Football Umpires Association has warned that from this weekend there will be no leniency in issuing 50-metre penalties for disputing decisions, demonstrative behaviour or back-chat.
